The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 影片改编自巴尔扎克同名小说。原著小说问世于19世纪40年代。但竟然发现哪怕放在现如今，也是一样具有极强烈的现实意义。本片可谓制作精良，人物的容妆服侍、背景的搭建装饰，都非常用心，几个古装年轻帅小伙也都相当养眼。只是虽然精良，但片长可能有点短。大部头的小说改编成电影都会遇到这种难题吧。

2.5 // 旁白在给我解读电影内容，念两个半小时的旁白不如我直接去看原著，完全失去电影的意义 ps: 旁白内容是好的，读得想直接看原著
往往，得到一切的代价，远远大于失去一切的代价。
好看！虽然导演用了太多旁白有偷懒之嫌，但巴尔扎克的作品改编成电影可太优秀了！男演员也很厉害！
或许我们曾几何时都扑向过虚荣的陷阱在那片松软的橘黄灯下自命不凡，再美丽的泡沫终会消散，不知那时清醒的还剩几何…
节奏被古典配乐带得克制而柔缓，唱一剧曾经时代里小人物努力向上爬，最终被卷入湖底的悲歌。全片画面很美，不喜欢的是喋喋不休的画外音，听似辅助理解，实则总嫌抢戏跳戏。
我觉着吧，这部片子要和《法兰西》一起看 200年前的法国，和现在的法国，同样充满着谎言的媒体，除了钱他们什么都不需要
7.5吧，很多情节放在如今也毫不违和，不愧是巴尔扎克。时长原因，虽然有趣但还是看到疲倦。
