The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很有意义的一部电影！社会是不能忽略摩擦力的，世界也不是那么简单的！允许一切情况的存在更加理解包容！

结尾很奇妙的升华了主题，爱真的是美好的不分性别的情感。遗憾，谎言，背叛，又或是死亡，好青春啊。
其实改编的不错，虽然三个人人物设计有所重合，但是整体上各个人以及各个人的角色产生了一定的平衡，只有平衡才能让事件情节完整地推进下去并使得屏幕里的这场劫持让人相信。
拍的过于立场化了，不喜，估计南非的观众口味决定的吧。

谁是卧底，悬念未能建立。时代氛围塑造不足。当抢银行的类型片与民族解放诉求融合，出现了类型片压倒表达的苗头。
