The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 尽管如此，也逃不过该有的硬伤，谢苗的人物过于脸谱化，像这种带一点顽劣不羁元素的正义形象，理应早就不该被用来塑造主角，因此片中谢苗的性格一展露，就显得俗不可耐。故事的冲突其实安排得很好，但中间少了对案情或犯罪者的深度分析，仅靠几段追逐和打斗就草草收场，因此在氛围上没有营造好。

被抖音安利的“遗珠”。不难看，但故事本身没什么看点，更像是一集制作不错的电视剧

就是爽剧路线～不过打斗场面真的可以。动作指导加鸡腿。表演看起来一点不尬。5分，给个鼓励分～希望是个起点，国内警匪片雄起～

谢苗有一些网大的电影还是可圈可点的，动作是很重要的一点，他有他自己的那种潇洒在，妥妥的动作片。
