《海边的曼彻斯特》姊妹篇。Tell是一尊中空的雕像，被剥夺了一切行为的原动力，所有向好的苗头甫一出生便被掐死，永远活在过去的罪愆和痛感中，余下的人生于他只是pass the time，极度伤感，又无可奈何。
他的这个造型真的有时候看着太奇怪了，感情线也很潦草，吻戏也要嘴角往下撇，像鲶鱼，哈哈哈。男二演的也不好。
又是个恩怨情仇的故事，终归是仇占了上风、主宰了生活，爱则一如既往的坚强——在电影里。
让我有点想起《第一归正会》。是我喜欢的风格。
问题应该有两点：一可能是制作成本上预算太低；二是施拉德导演天赋太差
3.5/节奏慢需要耐心。赌博只是业余爱好，施暴者一系列创伤后应激障碍才是主要。
玩玩牌，做做噩梦，写写回忆录，后半辈子就这样过吧。影像一如既往地冷漠疏离，只是这次疏得有点远。

文本显而易见的脱胎于《出租车司机》，但老马丁slashing而富有delicacy的掌控力却是施拉德力所不及的。
几乎承载理性的固定镜头：只横摇，推轨时景别却不变，变焦时聚焦主体又不动。以及，奇观的3D样的鱼眼长镜头。
质感出挑，单场戏很棒，整体却力有未逮，端着而无法下沉。倒是奥斯卡·伊萨克，头发一梳，从头有型到尾。
老中青三代男神都救不了的拉胯。9分的摄影风格，1分的剧本和对白。装逼过头的莫名其妙
影片还可以叫“追风筝的人、台球人、打飞机人、种田人、修地铁人、卖电脑人、直播达人……”，反正跟风筝、台球、飞机……又没有关系，随便咋叫都行。
好无聊的电影。。。我在电影院玩了两局王者。。。
隐藏在赌桌之下的复仇，但并没有激昂的情节，相当克制甚至拖沓，
以反类型之眼观物，“异常”严肃认真的语气驱动影像的inner groove形成某种特殊的张驰之力。好几个摇臂推进的俯视镜头经常给人一种恍惚和间离感，人物仿佛不属于此刻，而是永远流寓在生活的螺旋中。
虐俘阴影祸后代，又成赎罪公路片。
施拉德男主都用同一个日记本吗…片尾盯着两只手几分钟…这招太难受了
节奏很慢，也并非赌片。静下心来，看到最后，实际上就是内心的反思与自我救赎。不花哨，但沉静有爱。
