The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 着实挺震撼的，震撼与几十年的定格动画与电影视效经验所成就出来的一种多技术媒介结合下来的疯狂想象，里面对于每一个环节所运用的技术和方法都有着非常巧妙地设计，所以成就出一种非常癫狂的多维世界。感觉随便一个场景或者是形象都可以拿出来延展成一套设定和故事，但实际上整个电影却仍然根植着非常深的宗教思想，从开篇的巴别塔到，到所有片子中展示出的被惩戒的生灵与肉体，到后面的人类战争与混沌直到最后一切回归到一种宇宙的永恒秩序中，每一个部分都有着非常值得玩味地解读空间，确实很疯
无序中显现有序，丑恶中浮现美丽，一部十分疯狂且优秀的幻想之作
给三星，是因为这个电影真的不会再看第二遍

定格动画实验片，想象力邪恶而夸张，唯一的意义可能是，展示自己作为电影工业的一环，有多极致吧
完全放弃剧情编排，只有符号化的叙事碎片疯狂堆积，比场景本身更肮脏残忍的深层意向，从艺术的角度来说足以载入影史。
筹备了三十多年做出的定格动画，虽然不解其深意，但我大为震撼，频频作呕。
或许，它仅仅只是想表达痛苦，我们存活于世间这肮脏的痛苦。

刚开始觉得是一张迷幻专辑的MV，越往后看越觉得画面和音乐缺一不可，合二为一胜过任一。
疯了，神经兮兮又恶心得不得了的定格动画，隐喻的东西不好妄加猜测。
