The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。
这就20年，用音乐剧的方式去呈现，有一种悲中带喜的力量。
在英国看过他们的版本的，跟这个气质不同，但是同样有趣

可惜因为疫情被取消的中国巡演（本来都买好了票
完成度很高，紧凑，热闹，张弛有度，音乐好听，人物立体表演到位，调度清晰明了，动人而有大能量…我国的主旋律可以参考这样的叙事。记住了这些人，和Gander这个地方。
一直get不到这部剧如此之高的口碑，正是因为取材自真实事件，但剧里只是堆叠各式符号和煽情元素未免太投机取巧，缺乏诚意了。（不过cfa的舞美设计真的是很巧妙）

如果没有疫情 去年的这个时候 我已经坐在文广 在现场成为了一名纽芬兰人
是优秀的作品，但不是我会喜欢的音乐剧。里面从舞台后方向前拍的段落挺意外的。
“tonight we honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”
真切感受到百老汇和国产音乐剧之间的差距...

看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。
12人抛开政治不谈，那种音乐带来的直接感受的激情！还是能让我们感受到作为普通人的感动！音乐剧给人很直接的感受！
不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。
被女主的solo吸引着看了，然后发现讲的完全是不一样的事，是关于911发生后数架飞机紧急降落在纽芬兰岛上的故事。笑话尴尬，歌曲没有记忆点，总之好无聊。
20年后的911，灾难带来的不仅是伤痛，还有那么多温暖人心的时刻。 me and the SKY我的人生女权曲目之一，太喜欢这个女机长的故事了。唯一遗憾的是2020另一场无情的灾难夺走了我进剧场看LIVE的机会，我恨呜呜呜
