This episode explores how scientists delved ever deeper into the world of the cell, seeking to reveal the magic ingredient that can spark a bundle of chemicals into life. Their discoveries have brought us to the brink of being able to create life for ourselves.
The Spark of Life
The final part reveals how our knowledge of cells has brought us to the brink of one of the most important moments in history. Scientists are close to repeating what has happened only once in four billion years - the creation of a new life form.

摄影美术服化道和表演都是顶级的水准，为颁奖礼而生的那类电影。肯定不难看，但没啥感觉。

华盛顿将被蛊惑者的彷徨焦虑不安展现的恰如其分，麦克多蒙德有点让我诧异，也许她更适合生活化的表演吧。麦克白在有了面对最终审判死志的时候，又变回了那个他熟悉的更为坚定的自己；而他在欲望和野心驱使下的阴谋者妻子也必然无法逃脱命运的审判。复杂的人性和角色转换带来的悲剧从古至今反复上演，看似想要摆脱宿命却不断被卷入宿命的深渊。性格、欲望纠缠在秩序和灾厄之中，《麦克白》对人性悲剧性的诠释也许是莎翁悲剧里最顶尖的。该片去除了些许老版电影中屡见不鲜的诗意，更符合现代人的审美，我个人更喜欢早年间的几个版本。
老莎的东西，你们敢说不好？还是你们觉得影帝影后表演不行？
然后...是我格局不够…
另外，多加一星给摄影。
3.5.文本和形式所追求的极简还是有些冲突，但是光影效果和背景的表现主义感受还是强烈的，虽然可以说确实当下追求的复古不甚必要，但偶尔观看起来还是有值得享受的地方。
质感很棒啊，这部电影通过独特的光影和场景将现实感剥离，像是一场很华丽的舞台剧，镜头构图很绝。
就当是看舞台剧吧，这样密集复古的台词如果当成电影看还是会觉得很奇怪很难入戏的

仿佛看了一个舞台剧，黑白片也不显得沉闷。喜欢配乐，另外表白弗兰西斯·麦克多蒙德，如果不是三封了，也许阿姨还能再来一个奥提
高级的复古，舞台感十足，却不那么吸引人..
极简舞台剧，中世纪建筑冷峻鬼魅，迷雾重重，影子般的乌鸦，神叨叨的恶魔，有《第七封印》的感觉了，摄影简直太美太美，灯光也打的颇具水准。一度认为莎翁原著中的活生生的人性罪恶和宿命论很适合放在德国表现主义，黑白，高反差的戏剧化影像进行表达，畸变的人，扭曲的脸在一个个特写里直击观者，而那些高大建筑生硬的切线仿佛时刻在将人分割，虽看整个片子没什么原创性但在视觉表达和呈现上足够惊艳
麦克白其实就是一则寓言故事 跟我们解释了什么是self fulfilling prophecy 算是忠实原著了
剧情都知道，看的就是摄影美学，有几幕的光影构图真的绝了。虽然是电影，但更像在看舞台剧，也幸好没去电影院看，这种古英文没有字幕的确很难懂。
舞台剧即视感，女巫造型满分，大段的台词看起来有些吃力，摄影特别讲究。
除了布景，该版本麦克白在女巫的两个“文字游戏”被揭开之后并未呈现出丝毫动摇，而是一条道走到黑似的面对任何结局。这已经是不小的改动了。
舞台剧的复古电影风格，空间感纵深感有时感觉三毛钱特效有时又感觉宏伟。情节和演员表演张力到位，看完整体感觉就是：挺妙。
