The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 那种延绵的感情，静静敲进心里，随着他们共同欢乐与哀伤。在葬礼结束后，死亡换来了新生。当所有人挽着手出现围在小婴儿身旁，镜头一转定格于老夫人的画像。这让人恍惚间发现，原来任何的隔阂与阶级早已消失了，楼上与楼下，他们是相爱又无法分开的一个整体。

我没看完，想起以前追剧的日子。忽然有点意兴阑珊。过去的就过去吧。岁月在他们身上刻画的痕迹如此的明显，唐家邨也有些老旧了。哎。一声叹息。
婚礼之后是葬礼，死亡之后是新生
情节生硬，没什么说服力，完全是在为情怀买单。
这个电影恍惚间让我觉得自己在玩模拟人生，剧组进入家庭篇。这个故事设定的年代是默片没落，刚进入有声片的阶段，所以除了行外导致的一些笑料外，也有一些早期是如何解决声音问题的看点。

就还好～纯粹是追情怀了！！！2011年9月开始为老夫人追唐顿，到今天因疫情没贡献票房～我真是醉了！也佩服朱利安老爷子能把这故事从剧拉到电影～也算是把情怀做到最大了！大Mags都吐槽这老太太估计得110岁了😂

大型宫廷剧，大制作，很戏剧...相当成功吧...群戏基本都很成功，面面俱到。所有细节工作都做得尽善尽美的。 服饰，场景，背景音乐都美轮美奂的。贵族大家族的各自事情，好比《红楼梦》，又隐射英国皇室家庭。小小唐顿国，代代延续下去吧。 4.5星
视角停顿转换特别舒适、流畅，长镜头恰到好处，还是英国人会拍英国人🥺。休的魅力挡不住。
