A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
5/10给我这种观影体验的今年只有两部，一部是《算牌人》，一部是《热带往事》。自带一种迷人的氛围，但这种氛围究其根本却让人觉得冗长无比。影片有一股日式黑暗的氛围（导演曾拍摄过《三岛由纪夫传》），由一个糜烂的创口开始过往，一切如图鱼眼镜头般变形成不可逆转。扑克牌牵扯一种连锁反应，和故事形成轴转体系，但故事如此朴素真不应该。
没有上一部《第一归正会》好看 施拉德真的一直在重复布列松加陀思妥啊 赌博跟复仇绑在一起感觉脸不到一块儿
4.5.将赌博算牌人与虐囚军士的身份摆放在一个人身上，创造出一种内在永恒的撕扯：赌博看似狂欢却内里要求克制，军士看似严谨纪律却唯有癫狂才可生存。国家责任与个体道德，绝望与救赎，正像是《出租车司机》数十年后的延续，唯有悲剧性的自我牺牲与毁灭，才勉强创造出刹那闪烁却又即刻消散的微光。为死者复仇，亦或者为往昔估价，是永远无法成功的徒劳。在赌博场兴奋喊着USA的人们，为已然碎裂的梦，标上时代空洞的注脚——那里没有责任，也没有痛苦，那里只剩下自我麻痹的幻觉，以及必然苏醒的虚无。

沉郁而缓慢，被唤醒的创伤意识和无法被生活染色的白，不过越看越感觉Tell更像一个意图假装性感的单纯清教徒。
男主沉稳冷静的个性招人喜欢，只不过这一切表现都是从过去的不堪与痛苦蜕变而来的。鱼眼镜头表现出扭曲与表态的虐囚情形，让人心悸。把酒店所有家具都用床单包起来这是一种怎样的性格，看到最后到上校家要杀他时，看到上校家的家具也是这样包起来的，才知道这一切是有渊源的。女主演年轻的时候身材那么好，怎么现在发福这么厉害？吃错了什么吗？
欲观牌桌风云变，半途杀出复仇男。
奥斯卡伊萨克塑造出的这个形象太迷人。影片呈现了他的忧郁、审慎、沉稳，并告诉观众他的过去是如何在燃烧，却将暴力，丑恶和热烈的一切都隐去，留待想象，正是一种不忍直视。
绝对是异质的存在。宛如脖子梗住了的摄影机，单调的注视暗示着来自内面的束缚，深深地呼应了在赌场「Play under the radar」、清教徒式地行走的算牌人的心理张力。内禀的冲突处处都感觉得到。印象比较深的是有个游泳池，非常像监控会拍成的那个样子，还有两个路人在玩水（包括有些对话拍得完全是纪录片里的访谈嘛），而男主角们所勾连的体制酷刑、体制非人道将此一切悬置为意义浇薄的「American surfaces」，是两个男人选择放逐在野的原因。同是「LED」灯，赌场代换到公园，简单而准确地表达主人公的冰释，太给力。不过结尾不知怎么赌牌不拍了，这么重要的具有技术内核的东西排除在画框外……复仇有点像黑泽清。哈迪斯扮相非常好看！
并没有那么差，但又的确很多时候并没有满足类型期待。
格调，节奏和配乐都很合意，尤其音乐，很棒。故事么，一般般，但是还是给五分
完全看在男主颜值份上，听说这片被雪藏过，看来是明智的。剧情，惊悚，动作，一样没沾边。
数字拍摄技术的上世纪八九十年代城市中的“被背叛型角色”，故事是一场享乐与赎罪数字舞台比拼，并最后罪孽战胜了享乐。感觉也不算是反类型电影，虽然有几段处理的很反类型，但也不算。
好无聊的电影。。。我在电影院玩了两局王者。。。
极端虚伪的好莱坞，极端虚伪的电影，为关塔那摩里的恐怖分子喊冤？谁为911死的美国人喊冤？谁为恐怖分子杀害的美国人喊冤？
有种90年代剧情片的感觉，两个男主选的都不错，特别是伊萨克，造型非常有张力。罪与罚，是与非，在人间的审判之上的是“上帝”的审判。
两块磁铁没有吸到一起啊 因果殊途不能同归 奥斯卡还能接这样的片子？ 老马丁制片人也不行啊
5.0分，叙事方式以及文本人设的枯燥导致观影感受很无趣。应该有更好的呈现方式。
和PTA处女作《赌城纵横》一样，几乎没有展现炫酷的赌博技巧的场面，赌博只是背景板。和保罗施拉德一贯的作品风格，创伤过往的主角，自我毁灭与救赎。监狱虐囚部分的夸张鱼眼镜头有意思，但总体完成不如《第一归正会》。奥斯卡伊萨克梳个大背头还是颇有赌神那神韵的。
牌场较量很有趣又出彩。
