The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 与瑞茜·威瑟斯彭主演的《涉足荒野》如出一辙，都是自我救赎重新面对社会的一种方式。只不过娜奥米沃茨以54岁高龄出演这样尺度的小制作是否值得？
这电影名字起的太科幻了吧，应该就叫《约翰奇遇记》。
其实故事挺好的，卡司也不错，但是节奏也太慢了完全不抓人……

三星半，不像前傳的「前傳」。視覺是懷舊的，語境是現代的，但時代元素、借古鑑今的連結度實在弱。關於Tony是怎樣煉成的，亦只是蜻蜓點水。本片最大的作用，可能就是叫觀眾再看一次昔日神劇。
看似在描述意大利黑帮的消极然而每个演员都在使着吃奶的劲模仿意大利口音,甚至直接说意大利语...然而当时的情况想必是想使劲把英语说利索咯先吧...
白男糟粕回魂，如此“白男”式的电影中还单独插入了一条和主体剧情毫无关系的黑人线，貌似是暗示黑人崛起白人没落，实则整部电影传递出的思想十分糟粕封建、白人至上、男权至上、歌颂丑陋。
6.5分。《黑道家族》当时好像就没看完，而且年代久远，如今已经想不起太多了。本作号称前传，但有关TONY的内容并不多，或者说年轻时候的TONY并不能算是主角。另外就是电影似乎又有不少对于六七十年代的缅怀戏码，这更类似美国往事的风格，同黑道家族之类更为写实的黑帮戏码风格不太搭。
挺一般的，故事看似衔接但挺无聊的，nanase造型不错
看的糊里糊涂!云里雾里!前一个小时完全没看明白!后面揭秘了，才算搞明白!有点类似于刺杀小说家吧！不过故意做的很混淆。本来是冲着土屋太凤去看的。没想到她基本就类似于比客串多几分钟戏而已!
真的对闹米的选片无语，吃力不讨好那种，剧情太平淡了
冗长的铺垫导致一直抓不到故事主线，结局也不算惊艳，浪费豪华的卡司
片中有不少實景拍攝，難度不低；
