The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 轻松浪漫爱情喜剧哈，俗套但也看进去了，艾玛和小男孩的戏有意思。

只是一个爆米花电影，没有丝毫波澜，也没有一丝惊喜，包括男女主演的颜值cp感，怎么选择看它，我陷入深深的自我怀疑。
剧情各种硬伤，人物扁平到令人发指😣为了表现女主的坚强勇敢，导演为我们塑造了把营救自己弟弟的弟妹、弟妹的备胎遗忘在钻井平台不接电话的姐姐，万恶的资本家，贪生怕死的队友，还有前期装勇敢，关键时刻怂逼直至装死的男友……我开始佩服自己咋把它看完的😟大结局：一家三口没羞没臊的生活在一起，资本家继续自己贪婪的事业，只有舔狗备胎必须死。
真有那么大片的原油海，烧是烧不完的，很恐怖。只有在北欧的电影中才能看到这样的彪悍美女。
算是小成本的灾难片，视点放在海上油井，剧情上面马马虎虎，虽然关于海底塌陷的解释还是让人比较迷茫的。
还不错吧，一开始还觉得可能有点无聊，但是越看越上头，停不下来，就一下子看完了。挺不错的爱情喜剧。
特效和氛围搞得不错 剧情完全就是女主一意孤行 高级版英雄主义罢了
挺沉闷的灾难片，灾难场面没有太多展现，剧情行为逻辑不太经得起推敲，人物描绘也就及格水准。
片头和结尾的历史影片记录是一大败笔，导致我特意去确定了这是2022年的电影才继续看了下去。
鏡頭一星，特效一星。
抢险、逃生的场景大多设计在局促或封闭的空间里，应该制造出紧张、恐惧、压抑的气氛，可惜本片有些松垮，观众很难入戏跟随着紧张；本片是有大的灾难和应急处置场面的，遗憾也没有展示出来。还有，自始至终画面昏暗阴郁，即使是灾难片，也不必非得如此，《泰坦尼克号》同是灾难片，画面不也很明快嘛。若此题材由好莱坞制作，估计会拍得更为宏大，冲击力更强，更能打动人心。5.7分。
逻辑真的不太通。而且所有人物都比女主低能，所有官员高层都不靠谱，同事莫名的牺牲精神……布景特效到还不错，另外挪威海边确实挺美

属于环境灾难片，比较符合北欧人关注环境的口味，然后故事主线是美女救英雄。电影叙述很常规，猜都猜得到，前期交代美女能操作水下机器人，讲和秃头男很和谐，然后引出环境事故，之后美女一定去救援。只是最后是一命换一命，同事牺牲了，但美女肯定觉得值啊，反正自己在乎的人救回来了，真是无耻之极，死去的同事多么无辜。
为了凸显女主大可不必显得所有人都是弱鸡一样
宽容理解跟鼓励戏精是两回事吧？鼓励小孩戏精上身没有罪恶感么？
真挚、动人，看之前以为会非常俗套，但是看了之后觉得非常惊喜。除了小妞电影应该有的搞笑幽默爱情和俊男靓女之外，还有些许关于生活和人生的思考。#周五电影night
从男二挂了以后，就变味了，我甚至盼着这两口子也挂了才舒坦哩。还有除了女主别的人就不配在演职员表上拥有姓名吗，替男二叫屈。
