The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 哭死我了，故事本就很动人，这舞台调度更是超凡
在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。
岛民们都好善良可爱。比天灾可怕的是人祸，愿世界和平。
12人抛开政治不谈，那种音乐带来的直接感受的激情！还是能让我们感受到作为普通人的感动！音乐剧给人很直接的感受！

疫情封控真的改变了人的很多心态，好像更能和剧里的人感同身受了。我很喜欢这部音乐剧，从情节设置、视角选取到几支令人印象深刻的歌（包括集体祈祷、女机长自述、酒吧狂欢），好像在看一部用轻松释怀悲伤的轻纪录片一样。在人道主义灾难，只有人道主义能释慰一切。而人道主义从来不是靠嘴上说说。没有人是孤岛，每个人都值得拥有食物、支持和尊重，面对你的一份小小的关怀和善意，未来也许有更伟大的回报和羁绊。911改变了一切，有些东西永久的失去了，但有些东西也被重新发现和评估了。如同疫情一样。最后，希望有生之年能去一趟newfoundland。

这部舞台剧层次非常丰富，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。
紧凑的编排让观众游走于焦虑，亢奋和崩溃的状态之间。
