The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 岁月流逝，经久不息，“所罗门七十二柱魔神”为驱魔片提供了源源不断的优质素材。
赶鬼与赶主同步进行倒是很新颖，影片暗讽末世的教会现状也的确是很贴切了。但在基督徒的角度，Father Peter终究还是软弱了，靠与恶魔Balban的交易，结果必定不是喜乐，无花果树能生橄榄吗？葡萄树能结无花果吗？咸水里也不能发出甜水来，得胜只能靠主。
思路上有几处亮点，一些魔鬼的造型也有新意。
赘婿之吉吉王国番外篇，无聊看看还是不错的，剧情一般化，但内容有包袱有笑点。
精彩内容全在片头被附身小姐姐，够投入。D子们最爱的情节也有～够露骨。后面无聊漫长到睡着数次……驱魔题材已经用光了吧！拍点别的吧！

朱自清背影，吉吉国王吃香蕉，居然还有恶意满满的牙签儿梗。虽然挂着电影的虚名演了两个小时电视剧，但是刘冠麟还算撑得住。
挣钱嘛，不寒碜。剧2就别拍了，省下人工和费用搞庆余年2吧。
这种题材 还是不适合拍成电影；吉吉国王也不适合当主角

以为是上帝亲自驱魔，结果是魔驱逐上帝。本片提供一种细思极恐的假说：多年来魔鬼潜伏于教会之中。他们不停派遣经验不足、信念不够坚定的驱魔师独自执行不曾完善过的仪式，以暗中缔结的交易，增强魔鬼的力量。

大舅哥吉吉国王的电影版，虽然跟电视剧版是几乎完全一样的套路，但依然胜在不用动脑，还不用生气。影片没有强行把吉吉国王塑造成天才和英雄，但依然可以是人生赢家，这一点很不错。
