The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 欣喜出自作品之外。A24探寻电影新风格的做法是回溯到戏剧的本源，先破后立。而我始终相信，传统戏剧与电影的未来是相互提示的，莎士比亚很可能就是那把打开新世界大门的钥匙。
像是上了一堂戏剧鉴赏课，美学价值突出，电影价值匮乏。
