The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Leo the sex worker claims he can put up a fantasy, and he delivered. But I think the screenwriter did a better job on that.
Red panda太可爱了。对东亚文化和家长形象的刻画也许有些刻板，不能代表所有人的经验。
谁不想变成一只giant fluffy panda呢？但这也太stereotype了吧，皮克斯我看错你了。
女主简直让人窒息，不知道她是想探寻性“解放”还是想找人唠嗑吐槽，退休了还好为人师试探性工作者的职业羞耻感，打听对方真实信息没有边界感，面对当服务生的学生，也一副高高在上的姿态“我可能没把你教得很好，因为你在这工作”。

Detroit Rock City + Ghost World + 皮克斯一如既往的合家欢，中国的印记在创作者眼中日渐丰满了起来，吃喝家居，还有那热心肠的七大姑八大姨，只是我不喜欢 4-Town，也不喜欢 Big Bang。
没那么好看，东亚家长文化没那么容易讲清楚，但是传女不传男这个点看的还挺爽哈哈哈
暴躁和骚动的青春期，变成了一只小熊猫。接受了自己，和新的自我和解，和家人和解，感觉故事线挺好的。BTW，小熊猫真是太可爱了！
低成本空间，高密度台词，循规蹈矩的压抑，和唯一冒过的险，最终还是取悦自己更重要。妙在选角本身的气质，换掉其中任何一个人，这个故事就不成立了。
看到母女冲突与和解鼻子一酸，一直在经历这样复杂的感情中长大。想要逃离保护但又为了伤害母亲感情而难过，但我们都不需要跟对方说对不起，有女儿我也会这样吧
无聊版的state of union，毫无电影感，看似以单刀直入谈性色变社会症结的巧妙角度讨论中年女性广泛面临的性羞耻和性压抑，实则还是那套乏味至极的弗洛伊德陈词滥调。第三幕的强行冲突尽显编剧的能力不足。第四幕收尾我们似乎认识了Nancy，但对Leo的塑造远未达到剧本预期的身心彼此探索「疗效」，他依然是个提供欢愉的圣人，仅此而已。作为年轻演员和表演大师在戏剧空间互动的教材仍有意义，但除非对演员感兴趣否则可以直接跳过这部。
中华家庭情境+不太像Pixar 的大俗套商业鸡汤。表达其实很浅显，也未必只有东亚人能共情，但这般控制狂的父母绝对是某地特色。7.1

偏低龄的那一挂，不是我取向，但给小朋友看真好，世界上不是只有王子公主和鲜明善恶，也没有那么多的奇遇。多希望我小时候也有人能安慰我，不需要活在别人的期待中，不必为青春期的变化感到羞涩，不必总是站在父母的鞋子里为他们的不和而抱歉... 那样的话，turning adult会容易很多。
不会再为了肉欲而失控，只会为了灵犀而泪涌
Turning Red并没有像皮克斯近年两部电影一样，有着过于影响整体剧情的缺陷或者是看起来不够完整，影片里的配角虽然还有很多内容可以讲，但都点到为止。
