The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 和狗狗说再见那里让我想起了很多次无力痛苦的分别，结尾漫画很温馨很幸福。。。
题材和风格都是我喜欢的类型，整个2021年没有看到这样一部片子了。从神话改编而来的奇幻故事，配合有些空灵的镜头，形成了一种独特的美感。戴夫·帕特的演出也很精彩。

拍得非常漂亮，但这个典故有什么改编的意义吗？
没看进去
仿佛做了俩小时的法，满是晦涩难懂的隐喻，尾声让人豁然开朗一些。对骑士精神的试炼，“Now little knight, off with your head” 妙啊。ps：A24气质到位，艺术感太强了，摄影配乐真绝，Dev还是很稳。放映前羊崽的预告真吸引人。

What's the meaning of this film?
其实观众对亚瑟王和他继承者的故事没关系，没看过他们的民间诗歌也没关系。有隐喻也不是问题，但通篇密不透风都是隐喻，半点出气口都不留就是个问题。其实...通篇都是隐喻也能拍得很好，这就要看导演的功力了，动如《黑客帝国》静如《少年派的奇幻漂流》都是通篇隐喻，就撑得起来。总而言之，没金刚钻别揽瓷器活。
