During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 不是，我看了一下，导演也没换呀，怎么水平下降这么多？特效也假，像是为了伪纪录而伪纪录。前三部，特别是前两部那种惊艳的感觉没有了。
值得推荐的恐怖片 人体改造那段值得一部独立电影

比小时候看的录像带更血腥！但创意上基本是暗网都市传说汇编
区别于录像带系列的完整叙事的分段式故事。开头的神秘编号和挖眼珠营造了诡异气氛，下水道硫酸鼠人＋守灵女孩遇诈尸＋疯博士人机实验＋反动派生物见光死炸弹＋呼应开头的“看录像必死”诅咒。分段叙事前三个故事都还不错，气氛＋叙事到位，吸血鬼炸弹那个设定没看懂。整体属于完成不错的B级片
看到没有，这TM才是恐怖片！！！
what's more, 最重要的是尝试用糊画质伪装真实感，那你那镜头为什么一直在剪辑啊。。。逆大天。。这一点真的做得太烂了

整部电影最恐怖的是那条下水道，其余部分不仅不恐怖而且挺搞笑。
算是今年看过的电影里面比较好看的了最喜欢第一个ratman的故事，其次是邪恶博士进行人体机械改造（感觉借鉴了弗兰肯斯坦的军团）
喜欢第三个故事，有想法有创意，妹子安上机械枪突突突有点像恐怖星球，结尾杀死那个半机械怪物的手法和机械战警2差不多，都是致敬
