剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     Trailer非常的deceitful,以至于当我发现这其实是关于the lost doll（like..literally!)的故事时还有点难以置信。除了Olivia Colman出神入化的演技以及Dickon Hinchliffe完美契合的score外，我却只能说Maggie Gyllenhaal作为auteur or storyteller都是刚刚及格的水平 ---我实在想不出一个比来自academia的中产白女haunted by the dark past regarding motherhood还contrived的设定了，特别是还选择这样一个故事作为directing debut，实在令人汗颜。故作高深的dialogue和editing背后，是人物的单薄和动机的缺失，令人无语。
