During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 这有点吹毛瑕疵了，爱情片男女主角经常都会出现完美人设，多金高富帅，霸道总裁等等，这点大可不必较真，要知道，大部分的爱情故事都是幻想出来的，不像战争片那样大多改编自真实故事。不孕的细节没有圆过场来，这个确实坑了点，这样的细节也是很多电影的通病，也许时间不够交待吧。总体瑕不掩瑜，在接受范围。

没想到继续拍了这部“2021去死”，换个角度看，这一年人类的操作就是个笑话。
好吧，我承认现实中肯定没有这样的爱情。但是我还是好感动呀。都看哭了。这是一种救赎的爱吧。一种补偿。我很不理解的是，为什么后面他们有孩子了？
2021年学到了啥，就是人们没从2020年学到任何东西
影片根据同名小说改编，剧本不错，女主的几次出走，都是自我挣扎、成长、和解，最后HE，是爱情的模样。

没想到今年还会再拍一部。还挺有意思的，回顾了美国今年又发生了哪些糟心事，麻烦也不比2020年的少。抗议者们一边闹事一边给自己拍下罪证把我逗笑了。讲《鱿鱼游戏》那段吐槽好真实，底层全是亚洲人，上层的邪恶势力则都是白种人，守卫们的脸倒是跟戴口罩一样全被遮住。2021年如果还是不能从中吸取教训，那就继续期待着2022去死吧。
比去年那部“有趣”不少，做成Netflix年货节目也不错，严肃复盘，精准吐槽。

真的女主那无语程度我差点看不下去。但男主这什么圣人爱情我实在感动了。

爱是恒久忍耐，又有恩慈。疫情下离婚攀升的新闻刚看完，再看这部，真的会被治愈到，一个精神小伙用无条件的爱去爱一个众人皆弃的妓女，娶她为妻，那是只出现在圣经里的盟约之美。希望神只让真正看重婚姻的人去结婚。
让我们承认吧，荒谬已是我们生活之常态。nobody even cares，多么可悲的时代。
宗教意味停深的一个电影，这样的故事只可能在宗教世界存在吧……爱与救赎，但真的蛮催泪的，画面拍的很好看，制作精良带来直观的视觉享受
