The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 最后半小时全程都在哭。真的太共情了。
这种常态跳票导致时间跨度过大的作品会因为技术和审美的更新而串味(指前作)，但仔细看确实还能分辨出原味。鹭巢老师这部的音乐带有一点点商业感，也是这种感觉。
从14岁看到35岁，现实里我们长大成年，而EVA里的人物也终于与自己、过去和解。竟然是非常温柔的终篇。
3.26 横滨普通
制作太棒了，全程炸裂，大场面和特效是整个系列天花板级别的存在了，被帅到了，要是能在影院看imax版肯定会颅内高潮的。完成救赎，再见了，所有的eva.

我能说啥好呢，就到底是多孤独的人才能做出来这么一个故事？
〈四星半〉新老顾客都可以收获满足的作品，诚意之作，但称不上神作。大气科幻的落脚点最后还是一对父子，这种对比本身像一则寓言。

不再愤世嫉俗，的确是成熟大人的作品。再见了，所有的EVA。
好看是好看，看懂是真没看懂，需要补课大量背景知识，不过也算是了却一桩心愿。
片尾曲最好听了
加持种的瓜一定很甜、律子家的猫一定很可爱、跟美里喝酒撸串一定很好玩、我一天可以说无数次对不起去惹明日香生气，也可以对着绫波丽傻笑一整天……感谢EVA给我带来这个残酷又美好的世界，青结。
不如说，所有人都在寻找生命中缺失那一环，只有剑介能给明日香宽阔的肩膀和完全包容和保护，类似父母的爱；只有真希波不计较自己，不在意真嗣的过去，愿意用爱包裹他，仿佛重回母体一般让真嗣觉得温暖可靠；也只有与碇唯一起不论生或死，存在或消失，碇源堂才能得到最终救赎。每个人都为内心缺少的那一环双手在空中挥舞，希望能抓到自己缺失的，需要补完的部分。
