The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 硬核老派西部片，有血有肉，不宣扬，不做作。7.5+，多半分，敬情怀。
好精彩的故事，虽然低成本，但是真的很好了。这可能就是老亨利最好的结局——至少死后有人收尸。不过他儿子终究还是杀了人，不过那又是另一个故事了。
当传奇突然露出来的时候，就是这片子价值四星的那一刻，不然这片子真的很平淡，剧情一眼看透，故事单薄，对话苍白。

从《比利小子》到《雌雄大盗》，各类西部片看了超100部，印象最深的依然是韦恩的红河路艰，依然是荡气回肠的快意恩仇，大漠生死，各向一边，世事苍凉。
