The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这部电影的主导就有问题，是战争创伤吗？可是他们没有真正的反思，奇克的父亲不是因为虐囚自责而自杀，却是因成为了别人的替罪羊心理不平才自杀……所以此后的一切都毫无意义，只是在歪打歪撞。
这电影的配乐看似和算牌不搭，却又带来一种恰到好处的美与伤感
主要故事已经和算牌没什么关系了。ptsd和复仇、赌博都能搞得这么丧，这么各讲各的，也是服了。故事非常融不到一起去，出不来象征，尺度也不够，元素硬堆。最奇怪的不是为一个莫名其妙的男孩复仇，而是莫名其妙和女金主恋爱上床了。虽然细思之下，莫名其妙的地方也非常之多。情节推动之缓慢，本来以为会有《出租车司机》似的最后会来个比如赌神大招，结果不赌了。真是莫名其妙。
欲观牌桌风云变，半途杀出复仇男。
以为是犯罪动作片，却是中规中矩的黑色宿命主题，大量对白和氛围衬托，对男主奥斯卡伊萨克的演技要求挺高！赌场里的21点大赛，一心只想复仇的少年，关塔那摩虐待囚犯的精神折磨，都在影片中！最后隔着玻璃对手指的镜头，想起了ET！
有几个镜头从奥斯卡的侧脸几乎看到了德尼罗😂意料外非常色气的角色。跟玩牌关系不大

没有那么差，但是本来以为是什么酷酷的赌博电影结果看到一半才发现是要救赎温情，前面半个小时真挺不知所云的，而且算牌扑克和审讯ptsd两条线好割裂。
替罪羊之无聊误打误撞学会算牌的帅气背头大叔。

开头得眼神设计。回忆得拍摄效果。私人化得情感但看不明白的赌博
鱼眼广角镜头的部分是亮点，调度很吸引人，整体依然是PTSD与救赎的故事
问题应该有两点：一可能是制作成本上预算太低；二是施拉德导演天赋太差
故作深沉，什么事情都没有讲好，ptsd，赌博，感情，犯罪，全都没有说清楚。
