A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

有点raw的画面质感不知是有意为之还是看的版本问题，刻意超出画框的大头和远景交替的镜头语言与意图抒情的叙事和媚俗配乐并不和谐。亚裔，全球化之衰落，现代化之过失，环保自然。政治正确到恶心，金狮给这么个片
孤寡老人探索生命归宿的公路之旅。比较平静的一部戏，讲述了人到晚年的女主，却失去家和伴侣，被迫以车为家独自流浪。感觉和香港的《浊水漂流》有些异曲同工之妙，同样是边缘阶层的“游牧族”，在无依无靠中熬着人生最后的时光，背负生存的尊严，思考着生命的归宿到底何去何从。
赵婷导演非常稳啊，完成度相当高，影像很扎实。这电影手法现代，也很美国。前半段很碎的剪辑，节奏拉快，夹杂着动人心魄的自然长镜头，能看到一些泰伦斯马力克，后半段慢下来，其实总体社会议题谈的不多，更多还是对人精神、情感层面的探讨和挖掘，诸如生活的意义，人生选择（人是本性和环境的混合产物，环境、人生际遇发生骤变，有人回避，有人妥协，有人直面，有人遵从本心），何处才是我们真正的归宿。科恩嫂表演绝对一流。配乐确实铺的略满，基调上苍凉感可能不够。看好夺奥斯卡BP或directing ！

一部充满感情的了不起作品，许多美好的东西汇集于此：美国精神中伟大的游民传统与坚厚的家庭伦理，中国古代的、魏晋式的兴尽而返和倒履相迎，Instagram式的、充满道路、海洋、悬崖和车厢的#vanlife影像，冰岛式的、Amiina或Múm般的音乐，还有神龙士力架式的当代奇观土味与令其道德化的悲悯人情。这些古今中外网上网下的情感点，荟聚在一个华裔移民、重组家庭中成长的赵婷身上，凝练成结尾出现的一句题献：给那些离开的人。批评点也是明显的，就是其中以精致影像呈现出的某些粗俗，顺着刚才的话继续往下说就是“仿生赵婷会梦见神龙士力架吗”，但这种东西见仁见智，我觉得一尘不染的高雅算不上什么有品位的事情，恰到好处刹住的粗俗足以保持甚至提升水准线。索尔斯克亚曾回追50米只为把对方前锋从背后铲倒，但这不影响索尔斯克亚是一位始终优雅的球员。
在爱人离开这个世界之后，所经历的一切都是为了努力保全记忆里的痕迹。我怕行人太多，我也怕痛苦的情绪占据我所有的记忆，所以我只能轻轻的面对路上的你们，我们路上再相见，我不孤单，我还有我的爱人。
偶然摧折或自然地老去
老无所依又没钱，那就去周游世界吧，所有的失去，世界都会还给你！
片子拍的克制，情绪在风景与眼神间流转，孤独又浪漫。

5 平静中爆发出令人惊叹的力量，见天地见众生才能知道自己是多么的渺小。为什么上路的原因可能有很多种，赵婷的电影只用了一个很小的切入点，把生活和人生的意义通过一段又一段旅途展现出来，有相逢有友谊有莫名的情愫也有难以面对的死亡与离别，但别担心也别畏惧，最终我们都将会在路上相见，不管是几个月之后，一年之后，还是很多年之后，就像那束从1987年穿越而来的光，就像那千万年间从宇宙散落的落到我们手中的原子。
很有质感的一部作品，改编自美国记者杰西卡·布鲁德2017年的非虚构作品《无依之地：生存在21世纪的美国》。在金融危机背景下，一个失去爱人又失去居所的女人不得不上路，经历了露营窘境，也体验到大自然的美与惬意。路上有各种原因飘在旅途的游民，一次次相遇别离重逢，她得到成长和治愈，逐渐放下过去，重拾自由精神，拒绝宗教、家庭、爱情，独自走向新生活之路。导演虽是华人，但显然已真正融入美国生活，非常了解当地文化与民情。正如导演在采访时说的“电影中充满社会评论”，这部片子不仅捕捉到美国游民的真实状态，更是冷静客观展现出金融危机后，失业对美国底层摧毁性的影响，暗示养老金亏空现状，以及消费主义背景下，房贷带来的泡影，甚至通过YouTube大V之口直指美元暴政……影片表现出反抗资本，期待美国开拓西部精神的延续。

女主说出新年快乐的时候真是感觉2021年的第一天看到这样的电影真美好。
dedicated to the ones who have to depart. See you down the road. 生活在钢筋水泥中久了看到广阔荒芜的地方 真觉得心胸开阔。但我的心态终究是从一个旅行者角度来思考，而这种荒芜对于nomads或者the homeless来说是一种生活方式甚至是the only way to choose, 因此我的向往显得很何不食肉糜 拜托我自己 别这么矫情了
美利坚的假大空电影，这种类型片在日影里看过不少，《无依之地》真的找不到亮点。
很轻盈。赶在奥斯卡颁奖之前看完，以此彰显自己很有品位（。
