The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication.     没看过原版，但就凭借靠着单调的场景，吉伦哈尔独角戏一般的表演，仅仅靠着电话语音就讲完的悬疑故事，我还是感到非常满意。影片的配乐我并不认为是画蛇添足，配乐也许在艺术上不够先锋主义，但对于观众来说大大缓解了焦虑。
