The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 挺感动的。在现有体量和形式下做得够好了…（音乐剧本身就很难把内容做得特别深）这个戏本身也像911事件中的甘德一样提供了近乎乌托邦式的美好、友善、温暖。对于戏剧应该如何改编真实事件，和当下产生互动还蛮有启发的。
很不错，音乐剧总是从始至终调动气氛，维持着舞台的充盈。

看似很美式主旋律，但就是能够被这样人性的光辉所感动。

看完甚至有点庆幸因为疫情取消巡演被退票了，剧不好看，更不好听，几个演员一人分饰多角，我真的会错乱。中间我一度迷失了，这还是音乐剧吗？音乐在哪里？剧情无聊，唱段很少且毫无亮点，就记住了一句 I am an islander，现在的新剧都是这种水准了吗
911事件20周年官摄。芝麻切口的恢宏巨作，固定场景的万千变化，单时间线的犬牙交错。用相当简单的故事写实了打破国别民族宗教文化性别生物隔阂的大爱，编剧跪服。一想到这个故事在世界上真实发生过，不禁对人类多了一分信心。
悲与喜带来的历史与2022之间的一致性，使得苦难没有意义，虚无又穿透了我。

机长原型说她看了这部戏101次，它没有让人沉溺在悲伤里喘不过气。自始至终靠的是人性本身的脆弱、敏感、真实和温暖在打动观众。911过去了二十年，但人类还是有点希望的，不是吗？
可能真的接受不了音乐剧吧，看得非常煎熬。看到20分钟开始边刷豆瓣边看，最后还是没坚持到结尾。不太喜欢里面的音乐和主题（哎，还是喜欢一些黑暗类主题），感觉就像看真人迪士尼，不过看得出来演员很卖力。
