The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 绝佳的美术和氛围营造使本片充满了电影感，但故事和人物刻画都不足，演员表演上乘。

观感不如黑泽明的《麦克白》，《蜘蛛巢城》，喜欢那个三面间谍……
极简服化道，剩下的就全是细节和特写，相当托华盛顿和科恩嫂的表演。他们完成地非常出色。连女巫都演得出彩。相较之下，演麦克迪夫的黑人演员很逊。
這份典型很努力做但分數不高的功課，原因是教授們見過世面目睹過其他更好的Macbeth
舞台剧的复古电影风格，空间感纵深感有时感觉三毛钱特效有时又感觉宏伟。情节和演员表演张力到位，看完整体感觉就是：挺妙。
