The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看到一半就觉得太ridiculous了，但我觉得文明的进步需要有承认滑稽滑稽的勇气。权力造化弄人，社会三六九等。这些看清了这个世界有多可笑，还愿意用热血肉身去顶撞体制的，值得苦陷死水里的芸芸众生轻呼一声：你们才是可爱的人。
台词看似字字珠玑实则含义空洞，流于表象夸夸其谈，看后没有经典人权，庭审，政治片值得回味。这题材赶在今夏美国暴乱之际可以加分
有时候不感兴趣，是个老大难问题。再一看到约瑟夫·高登·莱维特就更懊恼。居然支持港独，什么鬼！
把人物讲清楚就没法把事件讲深刻，剪辑的拼贴有在加快节奏，然而其实没必要在人物复述当时的时候立刻附送现场记录，叙事太满没有留白。对话信息量很大，多是一般性的表层描述，以及对角色性格的快速摹写（依靠俏皮话和前后反差），涉及到更深的对民权运动的探讨，这种思考是缺席的，尤其离开法庭讨论来到运动爆发的现场，变成了情绪泛滥的作品事故，几乎失真了。波拉特演得好，马克里朗斯得拿个表演奖吧。
