The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这样一部反映现实主义题材的电影，引发共鸣。种姓制度下的印度社会，在简陋的警察局里被严刑拷打，甚至因此死去生命，他们三人也未曾奋力反抗，只是一遍又一遍的重复他们未曾偷盗的事实。
漂亮国还给印度戴上了最大的民主国家，若这样的垃圾国家都是民主，民主真的是被滥用了。

极其纯粹的感动。种姓制度，想改变了这么多年，尚未成功。未来更遥遥无期。但是这不代表是泯灭人心的借口。每个为他人的人，都值得被尊重。我们人的基因里刻着“利他”。希望时刻提醒自己，保持善良保持谦卑。爱人悯物。
看的很难过，一是因为电影里所揭示的不公，二是因为我们无法揭露的不公。
对于印度底层民众，这部片子在十年、二十年、甚至百年后仍会有影响力。
有被印度的近代史震撼到，人权是一条漫长的道路。
真人真事省去了故事基础，但是电影拍的不怎么样。有些事是一定要有人去做的，如果都不去做，那么光明就会被黑暗吞噬！
