The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 在男主给小白15万美元，让他回家看妈妈时，我如醍醐灌顶，这部把男主往救世主拍的自恋爆棚的作品，必然是自编自导，这种剂量的自恋，我上次还是在《文科恋曲》里大受折磨。 奥斯卡·伊萨克实际上扮演的就是保罗·施拉德想象中的自己。
赌场精算钱稳赚，自律蒙布尘不染。
偶尔的镜头非常漂亮，长时间的情节让我无法看进去。如同第一归正会大家都说好我却完全感受不到。
仍能看到些美国电影的旧日荣光，当然不觉得足以和Taxi Driver相提并论，详细不展开了。期待施拉德还会与斯科塞斯合体搞创作，不是老马挂个制片名头的这种。

格调，节奏和配乐都很合意，尤其音乐，很棒。故事么，一般般，但是还是给五分
保罗施拉德放弃了能令人兴奋的一切。牌局高潮，血肉搏杀，哪怕短暂的性爱都是浮云般而过。他所专注在的，永远是过往人们难以遗忘的罪孽与伤痕。于是人们喃喃自语，封锁内心，幻想通过救赎他人来得到宽恕。他剧本中的人物永远将破碎的心藏在一个光鲜的残存外表之下，绝望地在这末世之中建立自己的救赎。
施拉德的角色研究仍然扎实，稳健的情节策略却未能如归正会般打出一手制胜牌。

又慢又平，或许结尾🈶惊喜，但现在看电影没人等到结尾。
两个以后必得影帝桂冠的男人演了一部什么电影？
除了男主长得很像卡纳瓦罗，一无是处。节奏缓慢，女配垃圾。音乐还行。
