The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 小时候就看过，印象中看过的第一部谍战片，因人物原型有那么一点子特殊情结在，很喜欢。
看到最后一幕，突然觉得李侠是疲倦而压抑的。他的向往始终是快意恩仇的战场，而不是虚以委蛇的敌后，只不过他的信仰让他忍受下去，坚持下去，去需要他的地方。他有出色的能力，也说服妻子适应了这样的生活，却很难说服自己，不断压制自己的思念和向往，竭力地为信仰服务。
气氛营造，人物塑造，摄影，放在那时的中国大陆，很难得

2021年10月10日，一家三口重温经典，不同的是，这次看的事彩色修复版。小时后看的黑白电影，当时年纪太小了，很多情节有些模糊了，趁这次重映再次观看，深感今日盛世得来如此不易，吾辈当珍惜，吾辈当自强。

大年初一看水门桥，是件挺揪心的事。拍得也不是多好，主人公依次悲壮的死法其实是很刻意的，但我又没办法不难受。
