The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 矛盾的解决稍微lazy writing了一些，过于容易意料到了；在性别元素上也过于对立且直白，并不是故事真的需要的，否则能去四星半。三星半吧。
胃口被调的挺高，味道却比较一般，有那么一点新鲜？

开头女主把相亲过程中大龄单身女种种尴尬、奇葩经历呈现的不错，应该很多女生都对这种疲惫而拧巴深有体会吧。然后塞巴饰演的低配版汉尼拔闪亮登场，看似聪明强大残忍冷酷，从剧情暗示看，应该还切过妻子的腿，但最后又仁慈地留了妻子一命，让她生育了两个男孩。这样一个人设背景的大反派，居然是个恋爱脑，单纯到被情感小白的女主耍的团团转，这…。影片立意很好，传统男权社会对女人的剥削是全方位的，吃人不吐骨头的。但若要论剧情深度，还是看美剧里拔叔和小茶杯调情吧。
恶心恐怖的内容，经过隐晦文艺的呈现，以及魔幻的BGM，就能造就一部文艺片。
要是个欧洲片能细腻很多，后半美式处理太随意了点。这个片子能在Disney+上看到也是有点奇幻。
故事上大的脉络依旧套路。但也能看下去即便你知道被伤害的女性会转折反杀。单纯是为女主演员看这个片子。
