The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 其实这片还蛮有意思的，没看过1，有空看看，当作另类片来看
之前在院线大银幕上看到过的演员（《最初的梦想》里的校霸）竟然演同影来了，还演的是一个双性恋渣男。整部影片如梦似幻的氛围感学习得很足得，色彩上有似阿莫多瓦那般将浓墨重彩运用的悉心细致，但是还是不成体系得略显生涩；情节上与CMBYN不谋而合，同是理想少年青春的悸动执着于不舍。虽然是导演的半自传小说改编，但很诟病关于妹妹那一段得感情线，稍有埋藏但是不至于突然轰轰烈烈的私奔，还有男主过分的恋爱脑，和老师过于扁平的人物。不过这般理想梦幻的爱情故事，主角如此纯粹的观念，是不是恰好说明了当时的真实环境下人的真的情感表达呢，答案应该是肯定的，如此这般也让我感受到了印度这片土地不一样的魅力。印度电影这几年有如此多得同影频繁出现，也是真的蛮好的。
看第一部的时候，觉得挺不错的一部恐怖片，感觉会有续集。没想到时隔这么多年出了续作。没有第一作看着那么喜欢，里面的僵尸弱鸡的存在，而且喜欢单独行动（不知道是不是没钱请大量群演），没有被抓光做实验，估计也是剧情需要了。
作为小成本B级片还不错，虽说剧情弱了些，但让人脑洞大开的僵尸口喷沼气能源超越了N多末世片，而且血浆也足够，哈哈。
继续第一部的设定，故事倒是无聊得多了，看了50分钟犯困果断关闭播放器
感觉应该还会有第三部，这部比第一部场面更小了，剧情也更粗暴，反正一路上杀杀杀然后救人就完事。ps：男主一开始拿僵尸当燃料自给自足还挺和谐的哈哈哈
看了第一部紧接着看二，真的挺好看的，全程无尿点。
特效好了不少，主角团各种虐一大波士兵然后被俩智障各种虐……
不同于其他的僵尸片，这片有些新的元素，比如用僵尸做燃料，意念控制，末日小堡垒等等。
3.5 四星不足但三星有余，期待导演今后更好的作品。

没啥拍的就别拍了,最后大爆炸都弄不死也太扯了
疯批感和脑洞依旧，特别想看到导演把剧集版搞出来，太high了。末日疯狂脑洞，用丧尸口气发电也太囧了，就很搞笑。
澳版小成本丧尸cult片，
完全是为安迪加西亚忍着看，因为《安娜》忽然对这个老成了升级版喜剧罗伯特德尼罗的演员很欣赏。这电影其实讲的是辛苦打拼事业有成的男人中年危机，本来很有意思，为了卖票房按套路把婚礼喜剧部分放大，导致电影结构严重失衡，女主和女主老妈成了俩惹人厌恶的bitch，真人秀级别的“大女人”drama，因为男权原罪，现在就什么都是老娘有理，看得搓火。最难忍人物情感极其肤浅，中老年人可不是小年轻，睡沙发得腰疼，这老妈凭什么在老公没有过错的情况下做得这么绝情？是偶像剧么，就想冲她那张老脸拍一大盘蛋糕
因为看得不是很仔细，所以有些剧情细节似懂非懂的
