The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 针的滴答声贯穿全片，营造出一种无法挥散的焦虑和紧迫感，是年龄焦虑，是创作焦虑，人终有一死，我们应当用有限的时间做什么？

天才人生中永远只有过路人，从情感角度的解读倒是有几分《后翼弃兵》的后劲了。
音乐剧传记片，创作者困境故事，个人情感充沛，整体渲染扁平，除了加菲其他角色都不讨喜。
为何总在梦想终点止步？为何总会留下遗憾？那便是生命的倒数时刻在无声呐喊。
希望哪天可以看到完整的Superbia。
音乐剧粉滤镜加成，看到了很多Rent的影子，LMM这情怀牌很会打啊。
LMM的音乐和灵感真的是赶上这个时代了，幸事啊，算是writer里面混的头一份了
虽然讲的是逐梦演艺圈的故事，但融入了奔三焦虑话题，所以也可以跟普通观众建立联系。LMM自己的音乐剧被别人导演舞美做得华丽，自己导演别人的故事却能做到不追求浮华、选择最适合故事的表现形式。Andrew Garfield演得很好，希望明年奥斯卡能拿个提名。
影片是乔纳森拉尔森的个人传记片，讲述充满音乐剧才华天赋的他是如何在穷困潦倒一文不名的时候坚守梦想最后终于成功的故事，他创作的最成功的音乐剧《吉屋出租》在百老汇上演了13年，可他却在《吉屋出租》出演第一场前因病去世了，可谓是悲剧天才。
