During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 年度惊喜，加菲表演太精彩了，剧情流畅，感情细腻，配乐更是美妙。主角团队演唱的每一首歌都超级好听，故事中透露着力量。导演用的叙事手段很高明和传记本尊故事一样激动人心，紧扣人心。一场无与伦比的视听盛宴。

整部片子相当浮躁，剧情浮躁，表演浮躁，连歌曲都浮躁。难道真正焦虑的是编剧？没剧情就算了，主要是配乐为什么会那么吵，还好后半小时安静了一小会儿，难道是我老了。3.6

缺乏记忆点的单薄且口水的音乐，唱毕就忘；为了配合剧情画面精心写就的歌词，无法触动或共鸣，俏皮但审美疲劳；除了口述的1990和迈克尔关于同志艰难处境的台词外，再无其他关于90年代感的描述和氛围打造。

没习惯这种风格的电影，群戏，新旧冲突吧，改变与适应吧，人名和脸都对应不清楚，突然被邀看，迟到竟然也能看，空调都是后面开的。
在滴答声的催促下，焦虑和不甘油然而生，朋友的成功，女友为生活做出的妥协都是一声声的质问，唯有梦想与坚持能换来精神的富足。加菲的歌喉和演技得到了完美的释放，精妙的剪辑让两部音乐剧此起彼伏。但是剧本的情感冲击力略显不足。
和Whiplash之间差100个La La Land
看到有些朋友因为某些缘故都会拿它与另一部音乐片做对比，但很遗憾，各方面，各方面它都无法比拟LaLaLand. 包括感情线
没想到自己竟然也到了会打出情怀分的年纪，但仔细回忆起来，第一次打开唐顿的时候自己差不多也还是一个十三四岁的小孩子，原来十年真的过去了，Carson好像更老了些，Lady Mary也不再是那个年轻女人了。新的时代降临在陈旧的宅院之上，历史感愈发凸显，其间还是哭了两次。
十年前，2012年，我仍然记得那晚，妈妈在厨房做凉皮给我吃，我打开了唐顿。
看他的表演录像比看电影更感动。特别纽约。谁不是一边自嘲着一边执着呢，可惜现在聪明人全都去搞金融和写码了。
在六季英剧完结之后，电影版的陆续上映更像给剧迷提供的小聚，从商业角度来说的确有炒情怀的意味。不过这种电影显然是剧迷定向类型，没有看过剧的人对于庞杂的人物关系会看的一脸懵逼
克劳利的一家人都老了，我总被这种浓郁的消逝感所打动，Violet走了，我在影院爆哭，她最后说，我想起那些从前，我刚穿上衬裙的少女时代，总会觉得那是另一个星球的故事。她说，活得够久了。
作为传记片来说，形体和表达方式其实非常一般，加菲尽最大的能力在复刻和诠释乔纳森·拉森的半生。胜在情感真挚和每一首音乐都很好听。从默默无名再到生活撂倒，见证一个一个朋友的离去，巨大的声音摧毁了他。加菲的表演很好，好几场戏有闪光。更多的情况我会觉得乔纳森的一生就像胡波，他们都是被锯断腿的大象，一个是无奈而死，后则是无奈而生。音乐电影的魅力就是享受当下，活在当下，足矣。/记忆衰退，毫无感觉。
天分、努力还有运气，尤其是运气，才造就了全世界也挑不出十位的大师。PS：奥斯卡瞎了眼，谢谢

前女友拍了爱乐之城，加菲哥是想着不甘人后也来这么一部吗？可惜他音乐感不太好的样子，反倒觉得凡妮莎出彩。
