The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 崔老的演技还是一如既往地稳。这对忘年交的cp通过数学交织在一起，有点意思。

节奏一般，剧情可预见，最后一段讲话太low了。顺带评一下豆瓣没有的夜叉：3星，yy的有点严重啊，在大沈阳那样打打杀杀还能全身而退？但看着挺爽的。这次两大影帝剧本选的都一般

脱北数学家的政治正确，高校后进生的正义凛然。借用数学的外壳上演民族的争斗、教育的腐败和人世的温情，韩国人永远不会放弃三八线两端的题材，也永远不会停止针砭时弊，当然他们更擅长于无声处听惊雷，就这样一部中规中矩、一板一眼的电影，没人会觉得它乏味反而余韵悠长。
角色的转变就是这么自然，所以不要相信小地方的人当了官会为小地方的人谋福利，可能压榨的更恶劣。
