The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 偷狗的剧情都不会比101忠狗更经典，但“大狗”这一设定还挺有创意的
在并不逼真的特效和各种套路设定中，还是有被可爱到和打动到。毕竟爱狗子的人总会不自觉带着滤镜爱这样那样的狗子——小可爱变大不还是可爱的吗，再巨大又如何，who cares？！

虽然是个儿童片，但是小孩和大狗的人物关系没有做好，这是本片根本之处
CG的狗让电影中的所有真人角色显得那么愚蠢，所有真人角色又让CG的狗显得那么虚假，两者的互动过程简直如贴图一般违和。
好莱坞儿童向爱宠题材电影一贯的套路，总是除了萌化人，也没能给到太多额外的东西。

对红色大拉布拉多的喜爱也没能支持着我看完这部。故事太套路太无聊。
特效其实一般吧，最后政治正确的镜头找到了每一个需要照顾的群体…黑人、LGBT、移民，当然，戴眼镜的宅男华人。反而，显得很尴尬
看到最后有点与现实的割裂感，倒不是因为特效，感觉是剧情有点低龄了。
