The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很古早的年代片样子，很灵动的拍/剪，突然搞几分钟默片字幕笑死😆，就是叙事最后很规整了。希林演这种边缘形象完全驾轻就熟。

前半部分很琐碎，经常切换镜头的处理方式让我有点不适，难以进入状态，后半部分渐入佳境，慢慢展现出德国1941那个慢慢抛弃理性和良知、走向疯狂和堕落的时代，学不会游泳的法比安于是就成为了一个“不合时宜的人”，对今天生活在此地的我们也许颇有共鸣

直到最后，累了，走了，逃离这个陌生陆离的城市，回到童年的家乡。只是过往的人和事一直折磨着千疮百孔的心，连最明媚的阳光也驱散不开。
