Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.
They were in love with each other. And this would always be true. Their lives scarcely touched, but they had crossed to the other side, where time stops and heaven reaches down to earth and gives us that ration of what is from birth divinely ours. They could look the other way and speak of everything but, they always know. They had found the stars.
导演剪辑版看起来更有感觉，几集下来有点被里面梅艳芳的那种不服输精神所感动，她的故事，一部电影是讲不透的。还原度还行，就是哥哥张国荣的选角不太像。
其实挺走马观花的，不过加上音乐还有真人影像，很难不受触动，导演的技法也一般，而且很多歌手不敢用真名/hocc,草蜢,andy hui, william so等等
传记片还是很有吸引力的一个类型，但不知道是不是拍真人真事会各种麻烦，所以国内传记片比较少。这部《梅艳芳》基本还是面向大众，而非资深乐迷，面面俱到讲了她的一生，亲情、爱情、友情、走红、低谷、音乐、电影、慈善、抗癌，有点流水账，如果是好莱坞冲奥片可能就只拍告别演唱会倒计时穿插闪回之类的。当然了，这也不是冲奥片，有这样一部周全的商业片来纪念梅艳芳、纪念曾经的香港，还是有意义的吧。因为梅艳芳的时代离现在观众还比较近，所以还是可以很好地代入，对真实人物的情感能够弥补影片叙事上的平庸。关于选角，既然主创都下这么大力气找到王丹妮，特训了半年，为什么不也多花点工夫找个更神似的张国荣？既然不用特型演员或特效化妆，做不到形似，那至少也得抓点神韵吧，梅艳芳还是有点神似的。王丹妮脸像身型不像，应该尽量少给全身镜头。
还是忍不住哭了。王丹妮可惜了，完成了形似，但不具备神韵，尽管学着梅姐发了很多义气的狠话，却仍旧是个温柔的需要人保护的女人，不具备梅姐霸气的神韵。最主要的问题是，从出道开始到告别演唱会完全没有显示出表演的层次感，丝毫没有年龄感，仍然是美则美矣，没有变化的躯壳。姐姐的角色值得一个最佳女配～开始担心古仔的发际线了～

唉真的很唏嘘。为什么找个秃子演张国荣啊我不能接受。
这电影名应该叫《香港人》。背后由梅艳芳张国荣串起是背后香港人的精神。古天乐演得好苦。这些都是他曾经的朋友现在已经走了快20年。有一句台词后半句忘了，如果你记起请告诉我“唱慢歌要唏嘘唱快歌要……”？她的声音和降央卓玛比，女中音的调子，女高音的音色，和成龙，梁朝伟，张学友都合唱过。
除了我和HTT外，厅里都是叔叔阿姨辈的观众，看来梅艳芳的确能够吸引不少中年观影人群，如果条件允许，我倒是也想让父母看看。可能预期比较低，所以整体看下来觉得尚可。用最后一场演唱会首尾呼应挺好的，只是基本上还是从童年开始的流水线叙事模式，所以在结构和剪辑上会觉得比较传统，没有新意。另外张国荣的选角我不是很满意，古天乐和林家栋的表演倒还不错。其实我也去参加《导演请指教》的录制了，关锦鹏在综艺节目中分享了一些《胭脂扣》的幕后故事，让我印象深刻。英年早逝总归是可惜的，但是能在最灿烂的时候死去，我倒是也挺羡慕的。最关键的是，梅艳芳有这么多身边人爱护她、关心她、保护她，且在逝去这么多年后依然有无数的人记住她、怀念她，再想想自己，不免唏嘘。《夕阳之歌》好听。另外这次观影体验还是很美好的，我也挺开心的，真的。
有几幕挺动人的 soul mate就是一切尽在不言中吧… 挺现实的。因为错的timing而错过 男主哭的时候谁能不感到可惜
「年轻真好啊」，温馨的小电影，Dakota Johnson变得越来越美了
5星我给梅艳芳。看到和刚唱完夜总会郁郁不得志的张国荣在海边大喊“谢谢”那段 莫名想哭。在事业人生上那么自卑的人儿啊 对待自己的歌涯前景却有着无比的自信 这样的她是粉丝最爱的。前期的她不属于我这个年代 后期发现癌症之后我才真正了解她喜欢她 她几乎所向披靡的歌技 她的很多段感情史 她数次的高情商面对记者刁难 她的慈善事业 都会让人爱得更多。最后想说 请大家都看看这个电影吧 可能没有把梅姐的传奇一生展现得那么完整 但希望大家可以从中了解 这个叫梅艳芳的女人 并不仅仅是个歌手而已 她短短40年的人生 很美丽。
You may be happier with him than I thought. So it's time to say goodbye.
看之前和同事讨论过，以现在的时局和梅艳芳的声誉来看，影片只能拍成中规中矩的成长史，可是就以可拍的内容来说，导演和编剧的贡献也是微乎其微，魅力在于梅艳芳本身的光环。虽然着力凸显了她的反叛和孤独，但流水的剧情并为帮助不了解她的人体会她的处境和心情。她的“奇装异服”、她唱《坏女孩》等所遭遇的盛赞和非议、躲在泰国时的心情（这段拍的像是去寻找灵魂的旅行）、参与或策划各种社会活动时的个人与时代背景，以及比较重头的她和张国荣的友情，皆没有形成内在的情感力量。
槽多无口 这个时代和社会不配 梅姐泉下有知应该也会被这出不知想讨好谁的苟且闹剧再气死 从选角到剧本到剪接 没有什么是不差的 影片能呈现的梅姐连冰山一角都算不上 大量根本不敢说的事、不敢拍的人 还要基本上没有人物出现真名 excuse me？！梅姐的徒弟们在片尾credit就真的被统称为徒弟 尊重呢？混合真实影像不知是勇气可嘉还是居心叵测 活生生的梅姐（和哥哥）只显得这部电影和部分演员更加差劲 最搞笑的是 看似最用心的最后一场演唱会婚纱戏 我的天 梅姐的行头和真实片段里的完全不同 电影里的婚纱和珠宝相比之下便宜暴露无遗 既然都放了真实片段为什么就不能照着做一下呢 都拍了两亿了不差这点钱吧 然后杨佑宁本来就没好去哪 还被坑来这里 我都想替他哭 说不完了 两星给中岛步白只fish分吧 中岛步真的帅
流水一样的叙事有点令人厌烦，幸亏梅姐本身已是传奇。如今，再看到哥哥和梅姐，已然是对一个时代，一座城市的哀悼了吧。港人，国人，很缺这么一位香港女儿的坚韧吧。
王丹妮很像，但是像又怎么样，始终不是梅艳芳。我不理解为什么要找演员来演梅艳芳、张国荣，既然芳华绝代是公认的事实，又怎么可能有人可演。如果换成纪录片的形式，粉丝会感激不尽，但这种人物传记与电影里多个戏剧化处理真的让人感到非常不适。
1.5。素材取舍问题极大，前半段讲小情，却是领袖传记的拍法，俗套桥段包装出的稀碎流水账，说起来都是真事，拍出来却像个假人。后半段讲大爱，倒是应了同档期《扬名立万》里那句“不要涉及政治军事“，说梅艳芳是香港的女儿，但香港在这片里就是个华丽的空壳，说时代愁云惨雾，愁从何来啊？最后只能把所有的能量都压到时不时硬插的真实影像上，甚至搞出演员表演和真实影像正反打这种迷惑操作，也就彻底宣告了这部传记片的失败，你直接拍成纪录片不得了吗？片尾那座梅艳芳雕塑，好像就已经把这片主创压得畏畏缩缩动弹不得，更别提狮子山顶上还压着座五指山呢。其实就用艾伦索尔金写《乔布斯》的方法去写告别演唱会，不也会比现在好太多吗？
挺好的，王丹妮表现不错。人物、布景年代感足够还原。很多熟悉的人名，想看纪录片。★★★☆/7
看演唱会视频的时候曾想，如果有机会回到过去体验当年的盛景该多好啊。今天首映，歌迷会分发了跟当年一模一样的红色荧光棒。夕阳之歌唱起时，好像真的置身03年，延迟追星的遗憾被弥补，只是哭到整个人都发抖一句也没唱出来……生命快要终结的时候有人是这样度过的。作为一个弱鸡我仍然觉得不可思议，只有顶礼膜拜。
