The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 吃人题材本身并不新鲜，尺度也没有预想的大，男主妻子这一人物深度或许是全片最感兴趣想了解的，却未进一步挖掘非常可惜。不过还是不建议吃饭观看，因为把食用人肉用美食片式拍摄还是看着心里发怵（这些人不会得朊病毒吗）不禁映射最近的事件，我们不也是同样的境遇吗？
男主人物刻画再深刻一点就好了，比如与女主关系的处理，对于这项“事业”的迷恋，纯变态有点没意思。
三星半，无甚新意，但起承转合颇为成熟，演员演技在线。

很无聊很俗套的剧本，而且底牌亮早了。积雪效果做得特别差，暴风雪下得车都开不出去了怎么地上就那么薄薄一层。人物关系与几个反角的作案动机设定还行，打牌寻凶是个亮点。亚裔女主智商不掉线行动力颇佳在北美惊悚片里不多见。
