The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 色彩动人，细节精致。即使不交代老亨利的身份也很好看。

仿佛在玩荒野大镖客，这枪，这房屋，这服装，这马匹，都那么熟悉，屋子里面没有灯，昏昏暗暗的，却又那么有人情味
氛围感有了，但是不交代下之前发生的事还是有点儿云里雾里
好喜欢，很久没看这么有感觉的西部片了，片尾曲很好听
配乐透着西部的荒凉，也映衬人性的黑暗，蛮荒的时候，实力才是王道。
潮湿的泥土，肮脏的猪圈，衬衫发黄，菜汤易冷。就是这么old school。
复刻西片怀故旧，有心无力慢慢慢。
巧了，刚看完隐姓埋名做裁缝的黑老大，又来了死而复生几十年的billy the kid，这种藏在人群中的绝世高手确实能满足天下普通人的英雄梦。

前面氛围营造的不错，但是最后的大决战也太儿戏了吧，反转也是草率

这实在是一部为老西部片迷献上的电影，无论是压力层层累积直至结尾集中爆发的经典结构，还是中正大气的影像呈现和纯男角的人物组合，都可自然勾连进过往的西部片记忆，而且其为核心情节设置的障眼法，更是瞄准西部片迷的某种自负和盲点，反转效果加倍。剧本主线陈旧但扎实，反转以及反转之后的人物最终落点，则为整个故事引出了属于自己的光彩，传奇终逝，但流淌在血液中的野性和坚韧自会顽强延续。蒂姆·布雷克·尼尔森的演绎很不错挺加分。
成本应该不高吧，在一户破落村舍完成叙事，简练而深远
这个时代的电影西部片很难得了，就连剧本故事，甚至儿子的选角都在告诉我们西部片属于已经过去的那个年代，质感不错，配乐不错，很有味道。
比较老派的西部牛仔片，节奏较慢，但非常起范儿，只推荐爱好传统西部片的人观看。
