剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     結尾可以和wall e無縫銜接了~ 不敢相信it‘s easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism竟然沒有被納入台詞？？ 劇本完全就是capitalist realism+society of the spectacle +一些post covid apocalypse焦慮/ 看到小李子飾演的是一位天文學教授我就知道這你媽是一部沒羞沒臊的喜劇 片中用到的小彩蛋是都沒安什麼好心 最終也是a critique of capitalism that descends into a parody of critique

    太久没看到这种一气呵成的讽刺片了，爽翻！还有，虽说不要太悲观，但当悲剧摆在面前，乐观有用吗？don't look up就代表没事吗？

    导演再次献出了花里胡哨的各种影像材料和明星演员的大杂烩，材料特性没能凸显，明星魅力也没有散发出来（梅姨还靠着实力硬撑着）。观影期待值随着影片进度而逐步降低，也是奇妙的体验。
