剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     在视听和剧本上，本片都延续了导演前作《灯塔》、《女巫》的基调（黑暗、神秘、疯狂、虚无），母亲这个角色的塑造更是带有强烈的波兰斯基风格。在处理这个曾被无数次影视化的原文本时，导演明智地对故事进行了大幅度删减，更加着重描绘主角的强人意志、偏执狂一面，而对其内心的疑惑、动摇一笔带过，这种做法为旧文本带来了新意，让影片免于俗套。类似电影可看波兰斯基的《麦克白》，二者中都有类似的偏执、暴戾、绝望。

    本片过于追求影像风格化而角色刻画和叙事一团糟，前一个半小时看得我昏昏入睡，直到90分钟后生母揭示真相，剧情才算渐入佳境，我才打起精神来。在前一个半小时的剧情中，就是照搬莎士比亚“哈姆雷特”的故事，如果没有90分钟后的反转来挽救影片，本片的豆瓣评分连6.6都到不了，看完全片才明白实质要讲述的是一个家族相残的复仇故事。
