The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 或许白左们今天来谈南非现状颇为讽刺，但是这部电影真正关注的并不是历史与政治本身，而是自由与平等的诠释！是的，自由可以用用一切来换取，包括生命。自由也绝非妥协与忍让得来，反抗与牺牲是自古以来换得自由与平等的第一步！
影片场景设置有一定特点，整个剧情的发展设置在一个银行圆形大厅里，类似就像设置了一个舞台，剧情的推进也基本以舞台剧的方式，围绕着这个中心的场景发展。

影版还是容量小了点，好多进展没细究就被抛出来了的感觉
纯还是很幸运的，遇到了三浦，周围的人也都是很温柔的人。
基本上不过取材于历史真实事件的外壳，电影本身的情节全部都是虚构的，而且还夹带了当下庸俗但「政治正确」的私货，「三义士」是南非黑人解放运动成功后的「由果倒退」的虚名，却被本片编导煞有介事的炮制「神话」，可见电影作为纯粹的宣传工具时的不堪。
南非的题材令人耳目一新，殖民地的风格和之前布尔战争都是很有意思。AK47主要都在非洲千锤百炼了
