The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 本片取材于一起真实的案例，发生在南非的一起预谋破坏行动，因为失败而演变成劫持人质案，最终又转变成为一起争取种族民主自由运动。
看到片尾字幕就伤心了，“曼德拉于1990年出狱，并最终当选南非第一位黑人总统……”于是南非就成了现在这个鬼样子。当年前赴后继的黑人兄弟们，他们的愿景真的是现在这样吗？
女主演讲里有几句发言还挺让人迷惑无语的 以及无论男同的生存困境有多艰难 都不是他们欺骗并利用女性以逃避社会环境和实现自己私利的借口

自由主义爽片，概念没问题，但是剪辑节奏和转折都太理所当然了，好多人物都很有问题…

电影版画面很唯美、故事讲的也很好；
