brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. 没能把握好电影与伪纪录片的界限，犯了和前两部同样的毛病。Rat man和印尼故事给好评，血腥程度很高，整体来说依旧不如系列第一部，但是好过第二和第三部。
但凡用点心也不至于想出这么烂的主线和4个无聊至极虎头蛇尾的短篇故事，垃圾
前三部待补，画面质感和故事的趣味各有惊喜，比如守灵夜里的背景音乐、民兵组织里的警铃声，都刺激了生理恐惧，人头蜘蛛怪实在是太酷了
As the return of the V/H/S series it’s pretty good with five new stories.The company could produce more and more creepy movies of urban legend if they want.I await the next.
这个系列难得的是每部虽谈说不上多好，但每部都不烂，都能维持住基本水准。更加难得的是，几乎每部都有至少一个很不错甚至能扩展成长片的故事。最新的这部里第三个印尼的故事，稍加润色，填充一些首尾，加一些细节，拍90分钟一点问题没有。除此之外，第二个故事氛围渲染很不错。
这系列最喜欢的是1，23感觉是瞎拍的，到这一部才又有了点原版的味道
这个系列最好的地方就在于，大多数创作者都明白，伪纪录恐怖片老生常谈的“真实性”、“临场感”都是在为乐趣服务，他们应该看重的是的是“伪”带来的娱乐性，而不是“纪录”带来的的限制性。
不是伪纪录片就可以据此拍的如此混乱和没逻辑

预期放得很低了，依然低于预期，恐怖的味道不足就罢了，故事也讲的没意思，最后看下来5个故事都没留下什么印象，期待能看到人头蜘蛛，结果也没有
真的是非常的重口味。机械实验是里面最好的故事。
多加半星鼓励分，没能惊艳到我但比一般的恐怖片有特色多了。
伪记录短片大拼盘，很无聊。故事、氛围、特效、演技什么的都很平庸，第三个还行，稍微看到一些人性的探讨，这个被改造的女孩真是惨，想要活下去有错吗？

回归粗糙质感的B级片大杂烩，四个故事都很邪性（3>2>4>1)，特别第3个和第2个的氛围营造。
很猎奇的一部“恐怖片”，准确的说，应该是一部血腥片。
第一个故事最佳，很好地展示了伪纪录风格吸引人的地方，完整的故事背景和来自Rat Man的未知恐惧相得益彰，大大增强了剧情高潮带给人的观感刺激。三星。
看得我太爽了，好久没有这种感觉了。意犹未尽。cast部分也很cult朋克！
2.5。相当于结合了第二部和第三部的优势，却失去了大体上的灵光创意。机械改造那一段观感尚佳，绝对能满足血浆爱好者。
