The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东木老爷子真的不应该再主演了，一举一动都颤颤巍巍得让人不忍看，马戏用替身这个大家都能理解，但出拳的绵软无力，哪怕镜头马上对切都没用。Mike这个角色用九十高龄的老人来演，但凡不是东木自导自演的话，选角导演都能算是失职。不过我也能理解东木，他未必是真的想自己主演，而是他不主演很可能就拉不到投资。
把亞當斯一家的人物特點拍出來，然後瞎扯個劇本
早先看过1993和1998版。2019的电影也是第一时间去电影看了。但是这部，真的不好看……

弱智剧情的哥特小女孩寻找自我的家庭温情公路喜剧片。
剧本太生硬了，需要什么来什么，感觉没有一段是立得住脚的。被结尾自白打动+1星，“人人都想当硬汉，承受的伤害只有自己知道”，很难不移情到东木跟他塑造的这么多角色。墨西哥风景很美，外景想起毒师，音乐下漫舞浪漫。#sfm

感觉就是披着亚当斯一家的设定外皮，内里还是合家欢的迪士尼式家庭喜剧，完全没了真人版的那种独特了。
剧情平平淡淡，但重点不在这，老爷子没明说，但能感觉到是在跟影迷们告别了
