The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 非常过瘾，极度残酷。资本主义发展到极致就是地狱的样子。最后给自己灭掉，又回到自然状态。瘟疫乌鸦代表的上帝其实就是自然，宇宙，神。神才不在乎人类怎么想，一切不过是周而复始。

美术不论是阴森逼仄还是流光溢彩，想象力细节都拉满了，三十年的制作周期带来的是纯正的科幻片黄金年代的质感（台词都没有，剧情没啥好说的，有几场戏实在是给我恶心坏了...
疯了，神经兮兮又恶心得不得了的定格动画，隐喻的东西不好妄加猜测。
出色的美术和令人严重不适的重口味混合着似是而非不知所云的故事……不推荐，除非口味极重，是真的生理不适到反胃。

类似2001太空漫游，剧情就像是观光巴士，重点是（导演想表达的）窗外的景色而非巴士座椅舒适与否。
