剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     持续和1961版对比，而这也展示了原版的伟大。在1961版中，两个帮派都是社会的边缘人物，他们的舞蹈和歌曲杰出而无“人”欣赏，而在新版中他们可以公然地在街头make a scene。

    技术上水平的确不错，但故事实在没有共鸣。歌舞方面感觉男主的歌声和他的眼神一样冷冰冰（他最有感情的一场戏居然是跟店铺老奶奶的对戏），最好的是女二，很鲜活。最不爽的是居然西班牙语部分没有英文字幕，只写着角色speak in Spanish，观影门槛太高了

    从莎翁台本变成音乐剧，再从音乐剧变成 1961 年的电影，又拍成 60 年后新作——其实，就是个翻拍的翻拍的翻拍嘛。看过杨佑宁的萧峰吗？看过沈月的董杉菜吗？金庸剧年年拍，流星花园反复拍，能有多好看？无非为了推新人。各种「优秀调度」的吹捧让人忆起《双子杀手》，承认吧，就是感情分。说个笑话，经过「巨大革新」后，这版的票房甚至低于 60 年前的老版，尽管 2022 年美元 M2 是 1961 年的 75 倍。最适合与斯皮尔伯格这片对标的电影根本不是老版《西区故事》，而是张艺谋的《一秒钟》：各路宣传都在赞扬「大导演返朴归真」「对电影的一封情书」「对过去的怀念」「从历史尘埃中重现光芒」「复活了珍贵的电影记忆」——但我们都知道，他只是想捧刘浩存而已。

    3.5 enjoy it better with this new one, with better choreograph, cinematograph and maybe the cast except the leading actor. BUT BUT this is still the same story which I could not agree with on many aspects. where's the original story / idea.. and when to stop endless sequels and reboots..
