The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 本来就是场荒唐的审判，大篇幅的法庭戏一点也不枯燥，金句频出，很燃。对萨莎·拜伦·科恩刮目相看，Abbie这个人物和他很像，看似玩世不恭，却活得很清醒。

氛围的强烈推倒，还在于影片中短促高频的穿插剪辑手法太老辣了，不只是为了解释前因后果，还在情绪和节奏上扫射着观众渐渐高涨的代入感。
很有张力的法庭群戏，台词和冲突设置满分。看过的片子里，cultural revolution真是影响了全世界，从北爱尔兰（以父之名）到巴黎（戏梦巴黎），再到芝加哥的Abbie Hoffman。
太激动人心了，镜头语言和剧本编排都超好，最喜欢嬉皮士。

不给此片打5星好像不够pc，但标准得如同教科书的好莱坞优等生拿奖片……是试图唤醒21世纪观众对60年代的回忆吗，还是对逝去时代的无声悼念。确实导演给了左翼分子们绝对优势的展示，但说不出为什么，还是觉得并没有预示着更好的明天。可能因为我就活在这个明天中吧
