The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 特别适合这两天疫情和空难的背景下观看，感受善意，寻求治愈。"Tonight we honored what we lost, but we also commemorate what found."
以911为背景，讲述发生紧急事件后“幸存者”的体验与故事。角色塑造的大多比较丰满，印象最深刻的是女机长的故事。整个舞美、故事情节、服化道都做的不错，能感受到每一位演员为这个音乐剧付出的努力。
好久没有一场表演能同时带来两种眼泪了。
这部音乐剧不仅做到了令人难忘的音乐效果，亦在幽默的基础上增添了人性的光辉。

好看，音乐和故事层层递进。从纽芬兰的角度讲述了911事件的过程。整部秀当中不乏突兀政治正确之处，但还是从整个应急事件中看到对人的尊重。
